Why I started Blogging 4 years Ago

You ask why blogging? Today I want to share a little story about why I started blogging 4 years ago.

It’s exciting to start 2020 with all these new ideas. However; I think it is important I share why I started blogging with you Gems first.

Happy Blog post Monday!!! This week I get to share with you a little bit about my journey into fashion blogging. I have talked about how much I love being creative with my appearance.

Nonetheless, I have never talked about why I started blogging 4 years ago. You can catch up on my last post HERE

About 4 years ago I graduated from from the university and I knew the next step for me was to get a job. Truth is I landed my first job offer after my first interview as a graduate. ( I know right, incredible) The offer seemed like a good one since it was with one of the biggest communications companies in Canada.

My excitement was out of this world, however after the “high” of being happy; I knew the job wasn’t for me.

So I declined the offer and decided to do something I was passionate about.

Let’s just say my plan was a huge fail. Actually, all my plans to start doing “what I was passionate about” failed woefully.

I was sad, very jobless and on the brink of being homeless.

To make things worse; my housemate at the time moved out, which meant I had to do the same.

My world was confused and the last thing I wanted to do was take on someone else’s bills.

For now this is where I put a pause to my truth on why I started blogging.
